Viviane Niyonizera

Viviane Niyonizera is a Global Health professional and researcher specializing in Gender, Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (GSRHR). Her work focuses on advancing equitable access to sexual and reproductive health information and services, with particular interests in menstrual health, period poverty, adolescent health, gender justice, and community-based health interventions. She recently completed a Master of Science in Global Health Delivery at the University of Global Health Equity, where her research evaluated the impact of the Bwiza Initiative on period poverty among high school girls in rural Rwanda. Through her research and advocacy, she is committed to amplifying the voices of girls and young women and promoting evidence-informed solutions that address structural barriers to health and wellbeing. Viviane is also the founder of Simply Becoming Her, a platform dedicated to conversations on growth, leadership, wellness, and intentional living. Through her writing, speaking, and digital content, she bridges global health, personal development, and social impact to inspire meaningful change.
