Scoogie Events has been an ambassador and sponsor of Girl Power USA since 2024. Being a Business Which Cares, a percentage of every runner registration in a Scoogie event is donated to Girl Power USA to showcase their commitment to our foundation’s vision, values, and work.
Impact Created
Our partnership with Scoogie showcases their commitment to adding meaning to every event they do and making the run that much more meaningful for each participant. Girl Power USA is using its contribution to bring change across the globe, including in particular the Eco Warriors Football team in Uganda.
Run by Derrick, the team was constituted to help engage and keep girls in school while teaching them soft skills and training them as environmental activists through the power of football. Our program has helped provide essential resources including balls, cones, nets, and jerseys and we have an ongoing campaign to buy each of the girls in the team a pair of running shoes.
The support from Scoogie, and every participant who registers in an event, allows us to support programs such as these and more. We are focused on sustainability and tailoring solutions that have cascading effects in transforming the lives of entire communities.
