Grossman Burn Centers
Grossman Burn Center, through the Grossman Burn Foundation, has been a part of the Girl Power USA community since July 2023. As a Business Which Cares, they are committed to using their specialty and experience in burn patient care to reach remoter parts of the globe. With Girl Power USA, they aim to increase access to proper healthcare and treatment of burn victims and training of doctors.
Impact Created
Through our partnership with the Grossman Burn Foundation, Girl Power USA has been supporting doctors in countries like Uganda to gain expertise in burn treatments where the knowledge of these treatments is severely limited. Due to this lack of understanding, treatable burns often hinder the lives of victims which we are combatting through improvement in healthcare.
Grossman Burn Foundation is also sponsoring the establishment of specialized burn centers with requisite equipment in Uganda to further improve access to dedicated treatment.
Together, Grossman Burn Foundation and Girl Power USA are also supporting Sheroes, a cafe run by acid attack survivors through engagement and helping increase their reach.
About the Company
The Grossman Burn Centers are plastic surgery-based medical centers of excellence specializing in the comprehensive treatment of burns. Through the Grossman Burn Foundation, they strive to build local capacity and cultivate global partnerships that facilitate the treatment, care, and support of burn survivors and their families.
